11. Woodrow Wilson’s Reform
American workers benefited from several pieces of federal legislation signed into law by Woodrow Wilson, a Democrat and progressive reformer who was president from 1913-1920. These include the Clayton Antitrust Act of 1914 which attacked trusts and legalized peaceful strikes for labor unions. The Keating-Owen Child Labor Act of 1916 limited how many hours children could work.
